  • Dr. Clinton Chess

    General Dentist

    Born and raised in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Dr. Clinton Chess graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2018 and has been a practicing dentist ever since. He joined the Souris Family Dental team in 2018. Dr. Chess is accepting new patients.

  • Dr. Dustin Satre

    General Dentist

    Dr. Satre was raised in Weyburn. He attended the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. He graduated in 2006 and began practicing at Souris Family Dental the same year. He loves practicing in a small community with a short morning commute. He enjoys all areas of general practice, with a special interest in paediatrics and implant procedures.

    He is a member of the Saskatchewan ITI Study Club. Outside the office Dr. Satre enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, daddying, and barbequing. He is married with one son.

  • Dr. Jason Hoium

    General Dentist

    Jason grew up in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, and spent the majority of his youth playing hockey and golf. He studied at the University of Saskatchewan, where he completed four years of undergraduate study weighted towards microbiology and psychology, and went on to attend the U of S College of Dentistry. Jason was selected by the College to receive the W.A. Cotter Memorial Award for empathy, courtesy, and caring attention towards patients.

    Upon graduation in 2012, Jason returned to Weyburn to practice dentistry with Souris Family Dental. Jason is constantly learning and growing his clinical skill set to provide more local treatment options for patients of the practice.

    Of note is his additional orthodontic training through F.O.R.C.E. Int. and The Mahony Full Face Orthodontic Masters Programme. He has a deep appreciation for the community of Weyburn and is thankful for the opportunity to serve the city that has provided him so much over the years.

    In his time away from the office, Jason loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and children.

  • Dr. Kevin Aasen

    General Dentist

    Dr. Aasen grew up on a farm near Lewvan. He studied at the University of Saskatchewan, graduating in 1985 with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD). He received the Cal Waddell Memorial Scholarship and was a member of the Spear Faculty Club. After graduation Dr. Aasen moved to Weyburn, where he established Souris Family Dental.

    Dr. Aasen’s vision for Souris Family Dental has always been to provide quality dental care that families can afford in a happy and stress-free environment. He is very proud of his team and the way that they support their patients, and also in the way they help build their community through volunteer, cultural, and sports activities.

    Outside the office, Dr. Aasen enjoys spending time with his wife and family. They have two children and five grandchildren. He loves fishing, hunting, travelling, woodworking, and puttering around his yard.
